Marshal Faulk is telling the media at the Super Bowl that the Patriots did indeed tape there practices before the 2001 Super Bowl. Did any of you hear this ****? And is there any evidence backing up his claim? I know there were fake reports about this back in the day from the Boston Globe or something but what the **** is Marshal talking about?

Same ole, same ole...?o_O

Not surprising... he cries about Brady and the Pats all the time, every chance he gets.. and yes, he openly tells anyone who will listen that the Pats taped their practices

Him and Warner think they were cheated out of a Super Bowl.. they fully bought into their self proclaimed "team of destiny" BS and forgot that they have to actually show up and play the game still

I still remember good ole Ricky Proehl..
"Tonight, a Dynasty is born!"

This was Tomase at the Herald's fake story, emerging well after spygate and the DAY BEFORE SB 42. Tomase later retracted it, as did the Herald, and also as did his supposed source, Matt Walsh.

bottom line: Completely discredited story, yet seemingly forever linked to the charge of taping sideline signals.

Not a day goes by when some media hack doesn't make the bogus claim/connection, arguing that spygate was taping practices. This week it was Dan Lebatard, Chris Carter, Marshall Faulk, and likely many others.

Disgusting level of basic ignorance.

Lebastard get's on my nerves. Isn't he a dolphin? Probably sick of the pats embarrassing his team.

Marshal had it all figured it out.. I mean he went into detail about how Mangini was responsible for "Spygate" the Patriots video taping signals.. but Marshal said these tapes happend before Spygate and had nothing to do with spygate.. He said something about tapes in hawaii and some other nonsense. He said its 100% fact not lies and he doesn't care anymore. lmao... wtf But he literally sounded crazy and didn't make a lot of sense. Not surprising.

As I've written before, within the last 6 months freaking Lou Merloni on WEEI mentioned it casually as though it were an accepted fact. Laziness...

It can be healthy to hold a grudge for this long of a time...

What pissses me off as much as anything is that no one ever says to these jackasses: prove it. Years ago his employer, the NFLN, should have told him to prove it or STFU.

He comes from the Goebbels school of truth creation; repeat a lie often enough and people will accept it as the truth.

Aside from ridiculous ghost story rumors involving taped practices, there were no rules in place stating that you had to be in the enclosed press box (like you do now) that prevented any teams from taping whatever they chose at the time. Those rules didn't come until 2006-2007.

Perhaps Faulk needs someone to remind him of this?
