Haven't read through the entire thread, but wasn't it figured out that the person who runs the NFL twitter handle is a Jets fan? He posted the Andrew Luck "P-S-I" tweet.

Still waiting for someone to convince me why I should believe NE games this year (and beyond) will be refereed fairly.

And yes, the NFL won't be so stupid as to outright tell the ref to cheat (though you never know), but all they have to do is have their toady Blandino (or whoever grades the refs) downgrade correct close calls for NE, upgrade incorrect close calls against NE, and the refs will get the message.

I agree. The only way to win a close call is to avoid close calls. :)

There is no low the NFL couldn't hit that would surprise me. I wouldn't even bat an eye if Goodell ran out of the stands to hit Gronk with a steel chair mid-play. There's no doubt in my mind our season ends short on a really crazy questionable call while Mort and every other NFL mouthpiece looks the other way.

I can't wait for the ball weights to be "reported" without any fluctuation regardless of weather and violating the ideal gas law. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the new gauges are "fixed" to 12.5 so no ball pressure ever changes ever, since that's what everyone in the NFL who testified in the Wells report actually believed. Blandino will absolutely be "coaching" the refs on certain things. Brady or Gronk or Jules will absolutely be pulled late in a close game for a questionable safety review.

Brady winning his case was satisfying, no doubt. But the cancer at the top, the poster boy for legalizing abortion, Herr Fuhrer Roger Goodell remains. And his influence does more to harm the Shield he swears to protect than a dozen Ray Rices or Aaron Hernandezes.

How amazingly petty. Was Vincent behind this? Looks like they're poised to make yet another push on behalf of Forehead Omaha.
His going away present?

Again, this presupposes that all the hundreds of people that would be involved in this would remain silent, that every single ref and official is crooked, and that there isn't one single really good investigative journalist who wouldn't see this as a giant golden opportunity. And again, if it were exposed, it would be the absolute death of the NFL. I just can't see the owners of these money making machines being willing to risk all that. Much safer to get at them the way they have been over the years or just shrug and wait for Bill to quit.

There would be one person involved -- Dean Blandino. Who is already a proven liar.

This was on the ABC nightly news.

Not so. There are all the refs and officials being 'coached'. There are the people using fixed pressure guages to measure balls. There are the doctors and other medical personnel involved in safety reviews. That's just for starters. All of them knowing that if nothing else, a gigantic payday is waiting the person who can expose a conspiracy to fix the NFL.

You're basing your assumption on an entire league being fixed, like the WWE. I'm saying that one or two influential people can do way more than enough harm. Think about how many people were involved with Deflategate. Goodell and Kensil seem to have played a part. Blandino either lied or forgot or is a moron, or all of the above. That's only 3, and they almost got Brady suspended for 4 games.

I'm not suggesting that the league is going to organize hundreds, or even dozens of people against the Patriots. For one thing, the NFL is too incompetent to pull something off of that magnitude. They're just not smart enough to do it. But it doesn't take a lot of people to pull off some subtle things.

Think about the following: Patriots down by 4, driving the field late in the 4th, and Brady gets hit while staying in the pocket and completing a pass. The medical spotter can now call an injury timeout and pull a player out of the game if they think they're concussed. That would only take two people to be involved, one who we already know has no moral guidelines or ethics (Goodell).

The refs don't necessarily even have to be crooked. Certain points of emphasis are made throughout the season. Blandino could just emphasize specific points certain weeks to help. For example, he could remind all the refs about the importance of watching for offensive holding in the run game the week the Patriots play the Colts to help minimize that huge advantage for the Patriots.

And if you could find one corrupt NFL official...well, then it would just be really easy. And don't think it can't happen. If it can happen to the NBA (Tim Donaghy), it can happen in any professional sport.

I'm not suggesting we all buy tin foil hats or anything, and I'm not betting on these things happening either. I just have lost all respect for the shield that Goodell pretends to protect. He's **** all over it, and there's literally no low he could hit that would surprise me. The Ray Rice debacle was chalked up to total league incompetence, a complete bumbling of the situation from start to never finding the video that was mailed to them to eventual loss in court. But the Brady Defamegate situation was pure malice and venom. After that, I'm not suggesting anything is probable, but that anything is possible with Herr Goodell.

I really hope we win the super bowl again this year (which i see no reason why we won't) just to really slap the Nfl in the face and see the look in roger's face haha

Just a reminder: Belichick once said something to the effect that "It's hard to win the Super Bowl, even when everything goes your way."

@OnlyinBOS on Twitter fixed it:

I would not put it past Roger's character to want to do something like this but Roger's grip is slipping. Those who kissed Roger's ass with a lock lipped smooch are now blowing feather kisses from across the room. I'm not sure Roger has the ability to orchestrate a Yellow flag-gate type scheme any longer.

That is incorrect.

That is incorrect.

That is also incorrect.

Come on, people... Let's get this stuff right. It's stupid to get the obvious wrong when you're bagging on the NFL for doing the same thing.

Ok, then tell us what proof the NFL has that implicates Brady in anything. C'mon Deus!

The balls absolutely violated the rules. Its WHY and HOW they violated them that is the issue. Plus the issue that the other teams balls also violated these rules.

If the natural gas law is considered (which it MUST be), then no one knows if the balls violated the rules. Natural deflation can not be considered a violation...that's just common sense.

If you or anyone takes the Wells report verbatim it implies that their was approximately 0.2 or 0.3 psi deflation due to tampering. Their is also the outlier ball that measured 10.5 which does not fall into the predicted range of the IGL even if you do consider Walt used the Logo gauge. The point being is that there is some evidence that something could have happened.

My conclusion is that nothing happened but that is based on a few assumptions.

Brady stated, as well as other QB's, that it is not necessarily the pressure that matters rather it's the feel of the football that matters. I believe that.

The average pressure due to tampering that the Well's report implies was approx 0.3 psi. 0.3 psi does not support an argument of competitive advantage or a fumble rate analysis. It also makes little sense that a ball boy would run into the bathroom to release 0.3 psi to help his QB gain an advantage.

The best argument an anti - patriot could make is that McNally went into the bathroom to ensure that the balls were not at 16 psi as they were during the Jets game. That does not make sense to me either because he could have just as easily asked the referee in the locker room to verify them.

My point is that Deus argued that there is some evidence that indicate ball deflation. It is weak and circumstantial but nevertheless evidence.

Lol none of the guys from the NFL's tweet belong in this picture except possibly Peyton.

Except Peyton isn't even in the picture. The bronco is Elway. It's like the NFL is trying to do a full 180.

I showed the image to a friend who is a ravens fan and went off about how Brady was missing then noticed Flacco was missing. He said of his coach had done a better job in the second half at scoring and stopping the pats, deflate gate would never have happened, the colts would have been destroyed anyway and he'd flip a coin to find out if the Ravens would have won. The hates the pats and doesn't believe we did anything to the balls. He wanted Brady suspended for games 2-5 to help the Ravens get home field advantage but didn't believe anything happened

If we look at ALL the facts including the most important fact that no one recorded the pre-game ball pressure, there's absolutely nothing to base an investigation upon...it was all BS.

If they don't have the pre-game ball pressure, they can't even attempt to make a case. In a court of law, this would have been thrown out before it got started.

Was there "suspicious activity" (ball boy)? Sure, but that's not a big deal...
