It will be really cold but I’m tough enough to soldier through it, even if that means turning the heat up I’m going to make it.

I hate to do it but I may wear my gortex socks. I hate how they slip around on the foot section of my recliner but if I must I must.

Have you tried the foot and hand warming inserts? I've used them outside in cold weather for more than three or four hours. They worked well for me and my kids. I put them in my tennis shoes if I'm not trudging through snow and my boots if in the snow.

I have Tony, and they don't work on my feet! My hands are usually okay with a good pair of ski gloves or mittens, but on my damn feet either the warmers are too bulky and cause my feet to ache because my shoe/boot isn't fitting right, or they stop working for me after about an hour (the flat ones that adhere to your socks). It's so frustrating. I think I have sensitive feet in general, which doesn't help the situation. I may try them again though as there's got to be a solution and I am sure we are going to get another two (fingers crossed) chilly home playoff games.

I can’t help with the Jets game but I will take the bullets for you on the two playoff games. PM me and I will let you know where to send the playoff tickets.

I know - I should shut up. It's nice to have these problems, in truth.

If there is such a thing as a beer warmer it’s the greatest scientific discovery made by mankind since the creation of fire. I want three of em

Yes, that one was sooooo cold. We brought chili in a crock pot for tailgating and it was cold before you could bring the spoon from the bowl to your mouth (we also shorted out the cigarette lighter/old fashioned USB port thingie with the crock pot and my husband accidentally lit his gloves on fire over a portable fire pit - good times). I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now (but not my body or my damn feet!).
Had a similar thing happen when tailgating for a college game years ago, and still to this day I wonder why the bleep I didn't just call it a day. However, if it was a Pats game I'd make the effort, even against the Jete!

LOL, I never thought of calling it a day then, but now (53 yrs. old) I am dreading being that cold. I'm still going though! Also, a win makes you feel that much warmer at one of these games!

I am going to try my Merrell hiking boots and maybe get some Under Armour for this weekend. Also, though I hate to wear snow pants to the game (so bulky and awkward) I am probably going to do that this weekend too.

we were at the 2009 playoff game against the Ravens. space blankets worked for us. the fold very compactly and fit in an inside pocket

Tennessee game in 03 or 04 was frigid and I can attest to buying a beer then having a Coors Lite slushy by the time I got back to my seat....
Sneaky very cold game was 93 Vs Indianapolis....was like 20 at kick w windchill around 10...was my first really cold game as a STH and we under dressed....i had on sneakers and 2 pair of socks (not enough) and by the end of the game my toes were completely numb - that concrete gets cold... Got home and my toes were purple....

I hope so bad that we finally get a snow game in Foxboro this January.

When was the last time there was snow during a home game?

I too have a furry fella who is convinced that weather is a democracy. He lets me know in no uncertain terms what his vote is on the matter

When our guy gets intolerably insistent about going out in this type of cold, we open the door for him to race outside - then, we set the timer for five minutes. Invariably, as soon as we crack the door to see where he is, he comes racing back inside, loudly scolding us for being such idiots that we'd kick him out into such horrible weather.

I salute you folks attending this one. I'm a STH but F that... I only freeze my ass off for playoff games. Those games I do not miss no matter what.

I'm not too too old yet (44) and still in good shape, but I hate the cold more every year. So I'm officially a weather wuss.

I'll be attending this game and am very excited. The cold makes it a little bit more fun. You have to wear snow boots to get the feet toasty warm, they actually put insulation in those things. Regular boots are just leather or something.

Long underwear, mittens, balaclava, snow pants, and lots of layers topped off with a down coat and a Ty Law Jersey.

No problems whatsoever.

Our boyo is a bit more stubborn, once he's out, he completes his business... and then comes in and complains at us.
