It's a beautiful day out in San Diego this afternoon, and already we're hearing some reports via Twitter that should be mentioned if you hadn't heard:
- Adam Schefter reports that "TE Antonio Gates' toe, the same toe he once had surgery on, is bothering him. Knows he shouldn't play, but still will try. Very iffy."
- Ian Rapoport points out that there are plenty of Patriots fans on site at the stadium today, with photos of some of them tailgating that can be seen here. There's also a great shot from his press box of the field, with what appears to be perfect weather.
- A couple of player notes: Mike Reiss points out that CB Kyle Arrington, who is questionable with a groin injury, was seen stretching on the field in shorts. Reiss also reports that WR Taylor Price, the team's third-round pick, was seen jogging around the field. He has been inactive for first 5 games, and wonders if today will be the first time he sees action.
We'll have the inactives once they become available.
