The Patriots just released today's inactives, which includes WR Julain Edelman, WR Taylor Price, DB Terrence Wheatley, RB Laurence Maroney, WR Dane Fletcher, T Steve Maneri, DL Brandon Deaderick & G Nick Kaczur.
Edelman was reportedly seen down on the field with trainers testing his injured foot, but apparently it didn't go well enough and they decided to hold him out for this week.
As for Maroney, he's been banged up through training camp so it looks like they'll keep him out one more week in hopes he'll be healthier heading into next week's game against the Jets at the Meadowlands.
