On Thursday, the Patriots practiced outside in the lower field. The team participated in drills in frigid temperatures throughout the morning. The teams second session was lighter as the team practiced in sweats and shells.

Fortunately, Devin McCourty returned to practice. Brady also retuned as he has missed the teams first practice session quite often this year. The defensive line has taken a serious hit in the past couple of weeks in regards to health.

Brady (Shoulder), McCourty (rib), Deion Branch (knee) were all limited in participation.

Kyle Arrington was full participation with an elbow injury for a second day in a row.

Pryor (Back), Warren (Knee), Wright (concussion), and Brace (concussion) did not participate in practice.

The defensive line depth is starting to become an issue but the unit still has time to get healthy down the stretch.
