One of the highlights from last seasons virtual 2020 NFL Draft was when Bill Belichick’s dog Nike was captured by cameras sitting in the head coaches chair at his Nantucket war room.

Fast forward to this year, it appears Nike is ready to go once again as the 2021 Draft quickly approaches.

Over his Instagram Wednesday, yes the dog has an account (presumably run by Belichick’s girlfriend Linda Holliday), a photo was shared of Nike back sitting at a table with laptops on either side preparing to go to work.

“Final preparations as I gaze into my magic “Bill” ball! Let’s Go! #NFLDraft” the accompanying caption reads.

When asked about their dog going viral last spring, Holliday explained how it all went down.

“I’m doing lighting and next thing I know Bill had a couple of treats that were left over near his laptop,” Holiday said last year. “He stepped away from the table and all of a sudden he looks at me and he goes, ‘Look! Look at the table.’ Nike was just sitting there, waiting patiently. He knew his treats were there so that’s what prompted him sitting at the table. And he was just waiting patiently for the word to take his treats.”

As for Nike’s impact on this upcoming draft, Belichick had the following to say this week.

It appears whoever the Patriots take at 15 won’t be the only surprise coming Thursday night.
