There’s no way the revenue the league will bring in will cover its costs. I’d say it will last one season or less. People use the time after the NFL season completes to get projects around the house done, spend more time with the family, etc. And that doesn’t even touch on the quality of the game on the field.I have tickets to the DC game on March 8 and open question whether the league will still exist at that point.

My fav part of the AAF fail : watching Polian BOTH fail & leave network tv !I think the league will last the season. McMahon has the money to burn on a vanity project, unlike the AAF guy, who was cobbling it together with duct tape (and then failed to pay anyone anyways). But yeah I don't think it will last beyond a year.
They’re rebooting it.Have I entered a wormhole in the universe where I’ve aged slower than everyone, and the XFL hasn’t already folded?
Bill Belichick will be watching. Looking for someone to pull off the scrap heap to sign.
From the tone of the responses, it sounds like this league’s got... no chance. No chance in Hell.
That was Vince McMahon’s theme song. I don’t see this league doing any better than the first iteration. Maybe it will be less ridiculous and over-the-top, but I just don’t think the demand is there. If it gets off to an entertaining start, people will turn it on.
