Rachelle's attorney said they did not contact Randy's attorney first, but that Randy's people called and offered a hundred thousand dollars. If this was the case and rachelle had not thought about extortion why would they even negotiate. Either they would turn down any offer because of the principle of the matter(violence), or they would have jumped at the unexpected offer. To end up negotiating after a ridiculously high offer is made doesn't make sense, especially throwing numbers out that are ludicrous. The only realistic scenario is that her lawyer is after cash all along, that's why she went to the hospital after she saw her lawyer, why she filed a restraining order instead of charges, and why he sees it as a half million dollar gift horse!

I believe Randy because nothing about this case makes sense.

Ditto. I believe him because of the three credible lawyers who corroborate the extortion story, against the one inexperienced jerk down in Florida who seems to be trying to make his name.

I believe Randy
because Bill believes Randy.

Excellent point here. If someone wants to file charges/file a restraining order, etc., they would go ahead and do that. Logically, how could Moss and his attorney--or more precisely, why would they--make any kind of overture before that would happen? It doesn't make any sense.
