From GBN:
Bronco OLB attraction in bonus bowl… Its not clear how many fans will show up at today’s International Bowl (Noon ET; ESPN) in Toronto with traditional football powers Cincinnati and Western Michigan set to do battle. Indeed, it’s probably a good bet that pro scouts may make up a fairly significant of those in attendance. And the scouts will be there primarily to check out Western Michigan OLB Ameer Ismail (#43, 6-2, 225). In fact, no one in college football was better at getting into the backfield this fall than the explosive Ismail who had a nation-leading 17 sacks. Ismail, a former RB isn't all that big, but he's a flash into the backfield when he gets a step on the outside. Meanwhile, pro scouts will also take a peek at WMU OG Dominic Moran (#72, 6-5, 305), while Cincinnati players who they’ll be checking out include TE Brent Celek (#85, 6-4, 255), a very good underneath receiver, LB Kevin McCullough (#52, 6-2, 240), and DB Dominic Ross (#49, 6-0, 200).
I haven't heard of this Ismail kid, (aside from Moby ****) but it looks like he could be a nice project, he has the speed (former RB) to maybe move him to safety? I must say that I have not been too impressed by anyone during the bowl season (outside of everyone who played for Boise State), but all the big name players from the big time teams, haven't really shown up, with the exception of Calvin Johnson who made himslef alot of money New Years Day.
