Re: When the associated press writes like this..

OMG! Kicking the FG in that situation is running up the score!!! Adding 3 to 38 is meaningless, at least we gave them a chance to stop us from scoring. ******s!!!

What's wrong with what he wrote? Is it not the truth?

SVN,

CALM THE F#CK DOWN!!!

WE DON'T NEED YOU TO POST FIFTY POSTS A MINUTE ON THE SAME F#CKING SUBJECT.

WE GET IT ALREADY.

YOU ARE UNHAPPY ABOUT THE MEDIA COVERING OUR SCORING HABITS.

SO DEAL WITH IT AND STOP POSTING THE SAME CRAP OVER AND OVER LIKE A ******.

Thank you.

For years (decades) the unwritten rule is that you don't kick the FG b/c that would be adding points solely for the purpose of adding points.

The rule of thumb has always been to run the ball which at least gives the defense a chance to stop you and keep more points from being piled on.

It also keeps the clock moving.

Unfortunately, our sports media currently consists of a bunch of bozo's who have "NO CLUE" about anything. These people are really, really stupid people.

It's like we're living in Bizzarro world and intelligent thought as gone extinct. The world now belongs to the talking monkeys.
