It's off to the nearest sports bar, or roll the internet dice with NFL Bite for most out of town Patriot fans this week. Andrew Catalon and James Lofton will be the announcers for the Pats game this week, a rarity for New England games. My two cents worth for those of you that have never heard these two do a game: Catalon is not bad, though he can sometimes try too hard to make a game exciting. On the other hand I don't understand why Lofton has a job. He's just flat out boring and dull, speaking slowly in low volume with a monotone voice. Perhaps that causes Catalon to get over excited in an effort to compensate for Lofton putting viewers to sleep.

Most of the country gets Green Bay at Indianapolis in the late time slot, which is a quality matchup. All three night games should be good ones as well:
  • Thursday Night: Arizona @ Seattle (FOX/NFLN)
  • Sunday Night: Kansas City @ Las Vegas (NBC)
  • Monday Night: LA Rams @ Tampa Bay (ESPN)

CBS Single Game:

Early Games:
Red: Tennessee @ Baltimore; Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
Blue: Pittsburgh @ Jacksonville; Ian Eagle, Charles Davis
Orange: New England @ Houston; Andrew Catalon, James Lofton
Aqua: Cincinnati @ Washington; Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
Late Games:
Green: Miami @ Denver; Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
Yellow: NY Jets @ LA Chargers; Greg Gumbel, Rich Gannon

Fox Early:

Red: Green Bay @ Indianapolis; Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
Blue: Dallas @ Minnesota; Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma

Odds as of noontime Thursday:

Arizona at Seattle (-3)
Philadelphia at Cleveland (-3½)
Atlanta at New Orleans (-4½)
Detroit at Carolina (-1½)
New England (-2) at Houston
Pittsburgh (-10) at Jacksonville
Green Bay at Indianapolis (-2)
Cincinnati at Washington (-1½)
Tennessee at Baltimore (-6)
Dallas at Minnesota (-7)
Kansas City (-7½) at Las Vegas
NY Jets at LA Chargers (-8½)
LA Rams at Tampa Bay (-4)

interested in all the 6-3 AFC teams for the next few weeks. Need a bunch to lose

A Thursday night game with some importance!
all of these deserve a look:
Green Bay at Indianapolis (-2)
Tennessee at Baltimore (-6)
LA Rams at Tampa Bay (-4)

Lines seem to me to be too generous to home teams. With no fans, the typical -3 edge seems to be gone, this year.

Ranking the Week 11 games based strictly on the combined record of the two teams:

Both teams have a winning record:
14-4 --- (8-1) Chiefs at (6-3) Raiders
13-5 --- (7-2) Packers at (6-3) Colts
13-6 --- (6-3) Rams at (7-3) Bucs
12-6 --- (6-3) Titans at (6-3) Ravens
12-6 --- (6-3) Cardinals at (6-3) Seahawks

One team has a winning record:
10-8 --- (3-6) Falcons at (7-2) Saints
10-8 --- (9-0) Steelers at (1-8) Jaguars
9-8-1 -- (3-5-1) Eagles at (6-3) Browns
9-9 ---- (6-3) Dolphins at (3-6) Broncos

Neither team has a winning record:
7-12 --- (4-5) Lions at (3-7) Panthers
6-12 --- (4-5) Patriots at (2-7) Texans
6-12 --- (2-7) Cowboys at (4-5) Vikings
4-13-1 - (2-6-1) Bengals at (2-7) Washington
2-16 --- (0-9) Jets at (2-7) Chargers

Bye Week: (7-3) Bills, (5-5) Bears, (4-6) Niners, (3-7) Giants

I'm not risking my life at the sports bar this week with plague times in full effect. XM radio it is. Maybe I'll try to multitask and be productive while listening to the game?

Off to the Bears Den this week...Go Titties! Go Donkeys! Go Packers! And yes, Go Jesters!

Must suck not to have Sunday Ticket or whatever that service is that people with a VPN use to stream the games from those greaseballs in Europe.

Eh, it gives me a reason to not be with the wife for 4/5 hours once a week...So I have that going for me...

Ha! Trying to get a crew to go to the game on Sunday during plague times to cheer against the Phins!

i'm in the worst city to try and watch the pats on tv but, if you're in san diego too, i'll be there with my pats seau jersey.

edit : and beer of course !
Nah. I’m in the redneck version of San Diego - Jacksonville Beach.

It's $200 for tickets to the Donks game right now. Krafty Bob is really missing out on some revenue this season. $200 and I can't tell you who the Broncos starting QB is!!!

Sucks the Pats game isn't among them, but those are 3 pretty good games (I hope) to watch overall...
