At this point, Edelman and Butler seem to be the "most impressive rookies" on O and D, respectively, by landslides in each case.

In the spirit of Election Day, I'll post the poll on Tuesday morning.

But first, I'll give folks the chance to make their cases for their binkies. :D

In this corner . . . Wearing the blue #28 jersey, second-round draft pick out of Connecticut, with a 43" vertical, cornerback DARIUS BUTLER. . . .

In this corner . . . Wearing the white #11 jersey, seventh-round draft pick out of Kent State, with a 3.9 short shuttle, wide receiver JULIAN EDELMAN. . . .

Butler has been my binky since watching him at the NFL combine. He has the potential to be a shut down corner, which is something this team desperately needs since they lack a pass rush.

51-33 is hardly a landslide. Thats for Butler vs Pryor.

85-19 to minime is a landslide in fairness.

In fairness you should add the other rooks who have played a meaningful snap, particularly Pryor and my binky, Vollmer. Chung is also developing quite nicely and I am sure we will see more of Tate as the season progresses.

As far as filling a need Seabass' learning curve is impressive, and anyone that keeps the shrapnel from TFB has to be considered highly.
