Ladies and gentelmen , when it comes to predicting who Patriots will draft , most 'experts ' fail miserably. It's a kiss of death to those plyers , no matter how much you like them to be Patriots .
I think it will be more like that :
    # 27 Dont'a Hightower LB
    # 31 Stephen Hill WR

    No Jersey Selected

I'm not going to try and predict any trades but I certainly like what you've done with your 1st and 3rd picks.

Also, what is the board's opinion of Chandler Jones? He looks fantastic as far as size goes. I like what I've seen so far. Its hard to believe that he had so few sacks this year, but I did see him get doubled often in the tape I've watched.

He also moved everywhere along the D-line, so his versatility is a plus.

Got a feeling that Reyes and Harrison Smith won't be chosen by the Patriots... they seem to be the "consensus" #31 picks among media mocks, which by default means it's pretty unlikely they're chosen at that spot by BB and co.

Thinking Chandler Jones' popularity as a mock pick also puts him in the unlikely category as well.

Seems like more and more "experts" have the Pats going DB in the first round.

I think BB has had a very productive offseason to date and really filled in depth on the roster.

And while I see this draft as heavy defense, I still hope BB gets an impact 3-4 DE and a passrusher out of this draft rather than more secondary bodies.

Plus it seems to me that if injuries hit, BB is quite adept at finding decent secondary bodies on the waiver wire and off the scrap heap. (Moore, Poteat, Arrington, etc.) but decent D Linemen are rarely ever on the waiver wire or scrap heap!

Stephen Hill does not fit the profile of the New England Patriots offense since the ability to run routes is at a premium.
