hope he gets back soon they need him, Leon Washington has been a waste of a roster spot
Expected ... probably be out next week also ... luckily not out for the season.
Leon Washington has been an absolute waste of a roster spot. He's provided zero improvement in the return game since he can't seem to find his way onto the football field on Sundays.
Why hasn't he been cut yet?
Curious if anyone else had the same thoughts. Last week when Kelly got injured, it looked pretty bad. Then we saw him kind of shaking it off on the sidelines for a it. Then the goalline stand came, and he ran back onto the field. I said to myself, there is no way he should be out there after what looked like a pretty good scare, I don't want him to risk aggravating it. Then after the goalline stand, he could barely walk and looked like he aggravated it a bit more.
Did anyone else notice that or have that same thought process? Just curious.
It is interesting though...kudos to BB for bringing in Vellano and Jones. They seem to be serviceable players so far; if we had last year's roster at DT right now we'd be up the creek with no paddle.

Yep. Vellano and Jones both look like they can be excellent #4 to solid #3 defensive tackles going forward. The problem is that they're being relied on as starters.
A lot of Leon bashing and he has deserved it but with the way this offense has been anything we can get from the KR will be great and obviously his injuries arent season ending. Also he was here week one so he is paid in full either way. He needs to hurry the f up though, get healed up and give us more than one return for the money.
I would think as the weeks go on his spot would be a prime candidate if we need to add depth but right now we are thin at RB and again his injuries arent season ending.
