    My favorite axiom for reading sports articles:

    When the analysts starts to describe a team with words like tough, resilient, swagger, and confidence, it's time to put down the paper.

    Dr Z. used to write for the Post? The way he says it is kinda like saying "I slept with 37 hookers before I met the one I wanted to marry."

    Re: This should be nice reading material....

    I like this part the best:

    "They didn't win their 10 straight on the road against stiffs. Five of the teams were favored over New York, including Dallas and Green Bay, the conference's top two, which fell in successive weekends. The Giants had to come from behind in eight of the 10 games"

    so the teams they beat on the road wheren't stiffs because they where favored and the Giants had to come from behind? great logic there Z. Holley went over the list on EEI this morning and I came away with a different opinion than the good doctor:

    Washington
    Atlanta
    Miami (barely)
    Detroit
    Chicago
    Philly
    Buffalo
    ====================
    Tampa Bay
    Dallas
    Green Bay

    they've been playing great since they lost to NE, no doubt there...but lets not talk up the whole 10game road streak that much
