We could have Felger/Borges/Callahan run the draft board; then we woulda got sum good players:

First round:

• The Patriots trade up to #2 to get Tim Tebow before the Bucs get him. They give the Lions our first this year and both firsts next year.
  
• The draft guides predict that Dez Bryant will go at 10 so the Patriots send Tom Brady and Randy Moss to the Buffalo Bills to move up to #9 and grab Dez Bryant. There is rejoicing in the war room and among the fans.
  
• The Patriots trade up again this time sending all their second round picks to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for the Dolphins pick at #28. With this pick the Patriots select a lunch-pail guy (i.e. white) Eric Decker a WR out of Frostbite Falls Minnesota.
  
• The Patriots conclude a busy draft by trading the rest of their picks this year and next to the New York Jets to move up to #29 to select Riley Cooper; another big rangy WR lunch-pail guy.

With no picks left for the next two years the draft team turns operations over to Felger to sign any free agent in sight and then go off to the Dominican Republic to scout baseball minor leaguers and chew on Viagra.

0-16 and the Raiders go 1-15 and the NFL doesn't institute a rookie salary cap and we are stuck with the top two picks in the draft sending our salary cap out of control for the next 5 years as even Bill can't trade down out of those two slots.

Bill tries to trick the system, and run out the clock not making the picks, but the next 30 teams don't want to pay #1 or #2 salaries either....

The Patriots will put Felger in charge of Free Agency and Public Affairs.

Borges will run the draft; he will go to the corner drug store and find the draft guides; rip out the WR and QB pages; and then go home can phone all the sports writers in New England to get their recommendations on which WRs and QBs to draft. Never can have too many of them.

Dennis and Callahan will be in charge of game-day decisions. No more 4 & 2; just punt on 3 & 2 to be on the safe side. When they make a game-time mistake they will just jump in a time machine and go back and make the correct call.

BB's refusal to invest in a time machine probably frustrates me the most. Even worse than his refusal to get Adalius a Jetsons flying car so he could get to practices on time. This team is DONE! DONE, I SAY!
