Having all of these Florida kids ( Mincey, Brown, Herring) in at once is a strange circumstance because they were all the leaders of the their football team. Im sorry if someone has posted these thinks already but they really seem to fit the mold and if Brown can bulk up a year on the PS he might be worth keeping around.

I wonder if the Pats will look at Avery Atkins in a few years
They sound like Patriots players to me.

well all these guys are high characters..urban has done a great job down there. but i think Brown isnt going to be much more than a #5 CB or a PR/KR for us..

and Herring ran real slow for a safety..was hoping for Slay instead

i dont think the Pats will hang onto all these guys but it really shows how important character is to this team. Herring won't stick but Brown doesn't have to be anything more than a 5th corner. He can get bigger and stronger and what he brings to the team as far as attitude and experience is what seems to matter

Brown is just one of those guys you root for and he sounds like bizarro Troy Brown in that he plays corner by trade but he was a QB in high school (and PG) and he was also used some at reciever by the team.
