can never have enough depth I guess. I bet Rufus is getting cut

Rookie contract, potential upside, positional depth, under-utilized, possible succession planning. This is such a Patriots trade it isn't funny.

Depth can also mean more game and season energy. :D

6.99 3 cone drill for a big man.

Just trade the whole draft and don't show up for that **** show in NY next April or May.

Would like to see them package their 2nd for a promising CB who can play. I am interested in this Coleman kid though.

They don't really play the same position. Rufus more of an edge rusher. Dakota Johnson would be the cut I would guess. He's on the 53 right?

Price was steep.... 2017 4th rounder

The report I saw was a sixth rounder. Or is this some joke I'm missing?

Isn't Fletcher supposed to be back in a few weeks? Watson and Freeney seem like they could've held down the back-up LB fort until then...

Guess Dane is either headed to the IR or Bill really doesn't trust Watson.
Bostic is better than both of them, and he's signed through 2016.

Its a nice pick up but we could use
a corner.

It's one of the thinnest positions we have right now on the depth chart. If Brown or Butler goes down, then we'd essentially be without a replacement.

I hope McCourty doesn't ever have to play cornerback, but apparently that's the plan

Dakota Watson and Rufus Johnson's kid?
