The Official Season Prediction thread

I think we're good for 13-3. We'll lose in Cincinnati and Miami, and have some unforeseen disaster against a feeble 6-win team somewhere along the way that'll end up costing us homefield in the AFC Championship game.

Denver Loss - hate to say it but they seem to have our number. The last time we beat them they had Kennel at QB and it took a miracle.

The 'number' factor is severely misused when it comes to us and Denver. They beat us when they have a better team, and Shanahan has had some good teams in his years as HC. We've only had 2 games against them in which we were clearly a better team at the time ('99 and '03) and guess what? We won them both. If they really had our number they would beat us when they aren't supposed to, and that has yet to happen. In fact, we're the team that's pulled an upset in recent history (2000).

As we saw in Foxboro Nov. 7th, having the 'number' won't stop a team from beating you senseless, and it shouldn't stop us from pounding the Broncos
