why would it not count? Seems to me that he had both feet in and the ball didn't move in his hand.

If I recall correctly, NFL teams can only extend or revise a contract once in any league year, and it cannot be done in the first year of the contract. In other words, if I am correct, Revis cannot be extended until the start of the new league year next March.

Thankfully, you're not.

Since Revis is a veteran player, he can do the first renegotiation at any time.
