I haven't seen a thread like this done, so if anyone would like to add a piece to this thread feel free to do so

I have always loved to hear what former Patriots of the past are doing in their post NFL careers, whether they retired from the NFL last year or 30 years ago.

I found a recent piece on kicker John Smith and his memories of the John Lennon shooting nearly 20 years to this date which happened on MNF when the Pats played the Dolphins

Former New England Patriots kicker John Smith forever linked to John Lennon - ESPN

John Tanner, the man who did so much: Near death, perennial athlete, Vietnam veteran acknowledged life was 'good'

I didn't quote anything else from that article, but if you click the link I have a feeling you'll find it very much worth the time you spend reading it.

And I hear they need someone to clean the tables. Hopefully Brandon Tate doesn't wind up with it.

Rick Sanford, Pats first rounder in 1979, is a chiropractor in Columbia SC. The first Gamec0ck to ever be selected in first round of NFL draft, he was basically a bust in relation to his draft position. For a while we started the four first rounder defensive backfield with Haynes (1976 -5th overall), Tim Fox(76 -21st), Clayborn (77 -16th) (we also got Stanley Morgan at 25 in this draft - Clayborn and the Steamer - NOT TOO SHABBY), Sanford (79 - 25th). Then we drafted Roland James in 1980 with 14th overall (and Vagas Ferguson with 25th pick - nice one!!!) The board would have been going crazy for an OLB!!! If you need a chiro asjustment, just visit Dr. Rick's website below for contact info. You get an adjustment and talk old Pats football.
