Varitek just hit a home run.
For those keeping score ...
I'm starting to get the feeling you really don't like Jason Varitek in the Red Sox line up cojThanks for the update.....
The fans usually pop in whenever Tek hits a dinger.....
The previous update occurred on one of my other threads in May .
It has been 18 games since his last Homerun. He hit 1 homerun in June of 2008, so he has already matched the power numbers of last June.
He is actually on the verge of passing the Mendoza line for June which
is good news, because he batted 122 avg in June 2008.

There were a lot of fans and media members who were talking about
Variitek getting 3/36 and a option year before free agency started.
wow what a great contribution to the board? more tek non senseI hated the idea of him getting a multi year contract for big money
that Boras was looking for.
We gave him too much in his last contract 4/40.
There was no other team offering him that type of money.

Theo played Tek this time and won.
2/10 is good value....
I still hate to see him come to the plate with the game on the line.
We all know the fans and media are the best judges of what a player is worth.
Seriously though, Tek could play for this team for free and you still wouldn't like him.
