Buckley's piece on Alexander...http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/view.bg?articleid=150832

Chris Kennedy with an O'Callaghan piece...http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/view.bg?articleid=150832

Our own Chris Price with a witty lead in on Dean Pees...http://www.bostonsportsreview.com/dailyreportstory.asp?storyid=491
There are positions with a high rate of change — head of FEMA or marriage counselor to Larry King, for instance. And then there are jobs that have more turnover than a North End bakery, like lead singer for Van Halen or Patriots' defensive coordinator.

Eric McHugh doesn't see a problem with Stone's hands, unlike erdoboy's report of hands of stone...

With the receiving corps thinned, former Oakland Raider John Stone made some nice catches...

Ouch. :D

(By the way, Sammy blew Diamond Dave away. It took years for me to finally admit that.)

Hey BOX. Thanks for the links. However, you posted the Alexander one twice and didn't post the O'Callaghan one. If you could fix that, it be appreciated.

Thanx for the tasty potpourri !

Dang, these senior moments are piling up, I'll be calling for slants and coordinator's heads soon...http://www.masslive.com/sports/republican/index.ssf?/base/sports-0/1154391015230200.xml&coll=1 :(

While we're at it:

Hochstein: http://www.masslive.com/sports/republican/index.ssf?/base/sports-1/115450551185550.xml&coll=1

In a seperate piece to tell us Tom Brady was back practicing http://www.masslive.com/sports/republican/index.ssf?/base/sports-0/1154475615199480.xml&coll=1, Kennedy had this note:
I REMEMBER YOU: When the Patriots signed tight end Walter Rasby, who turns 34 in September, it jogged some memories for Watson.

"When I first moved to South Carolina, I was in the 10th grade, and I remember Walter because he was with the Carolina Panthers at that point," the now 25-year-old Watson said. "So I'm looking at him kind of like (former teammate Christian) Fauria, 'Man, I can learn some things from him."

By the way, Watson did mention that little story to Rasby.
