If I'm not mistaken, he's a big bodied outside WR who had a pretty good 2010, he must have been a huge pain in the ass to be released.

After looking him up, he's been pretty terrible, and for a 6'5" WR he only averages about 12ypc.

In 2011, 12 games, 18 receptions for 236 yards and one TD. He was due $3 million in 2012.

Miami will sign him - those numbers are identical to Chad Ochocinco's 2011 numbers.

It's too bad because it was a good redemption story: top ten draft pick becomes known as one of the league's all-time busts, linked to the failure of Matt Millen and the Lions, then out of nowhere has a good season on his 5th team. Then just a year later he goes from the team's number one receiver to their number four receiver and released once again. It's as if he is one of those guys that can't handle success.

As for the idea of coming to Foxboro, I just don't see how he improves the team at all - even if he comes in with the best attitude of his career. If there's an available safety or defensive lineman it might be worth considering, but not another wide receiver.
