If I'm not mistaken, he's a big bodied outside WR who had a pretty good 2010, he must have been a huge pain in the ass to be released.

After looking him up, he's been pretty terrible, and for a 6'5" WR he only averages about 12ypc.

had a good 2010. But a nothing 2011.
I'd say he's done.

Someone might look at him. But it won't be Bill.

I say its extremely doubtful the pats even look at another WR

They are stacked at receiver unless injuries come about.

He has gone from out of the NFL for 2 years to leading receiver of the Seahawks to released over the last 2 seasons!

I lost track of all these Mike Williams's

If Pete Carroll, the only person who was ever able to get anything out of him, doesn't want him, then no thanks.

no thanks

Our wide receivers right now are one of our strengths

The man was playing at 270 pounds at one point. I'd say he has nose tackle potential.

Sounds like he may be bringing his "wasted talent" to south beach !

Maybe he needs another two years off for his next comeback.

Bring 'em in. We don't have enough wide-outs. Let's give every WR who's cut betweeen now and opening day a look-see.

Its sad when a wide receiver almost weighs as much as a lineman. On the other hand,he could give us depth behind Vince Wilfork

he should work at stop and shop

And he signs a one year deal with the New York Jets in 3...2...1...

In 2011, 12 games, 18 receptions for 236 yards and one TD. He was due $3 million in 2012.

Miami will sign him - those numbers are identical to Chad Ochocinco's 2011 numbers.

It's too bad because it was a good redemption story: top ten draft pick becomes known as one of the league's all-time busts, linked to the failure of Matt Millen and the Lions, then out of nowhere has a good season on his 5th team. Then just a year later he goes from the team's number one receiver to their number four receiver and released once again. It's as if he is one of those guys that can't handle success.

As for the idea of coming to Foxboro, I just don't see how he improves the team at all - even if he comes in with the best attitude of his career. If there's an available safety or defensive lineman it might be worth considering, but not another wide receiver.
