so I'm planning my first trip to camp on Monday and the weather says chance of T-storms....what all happens if they move practice to the bubble? they just tell everyone to go home?

The last time I went to camp and it rained was 2004. They had us go inside the stadium and watch it on the screens.

But in the Training Camp 101 video posted on Patriots.com yesterday, they said if there was rain then there would be no public access.

So I'm guessing it depends on how sure they are that it will rain.

I rewmember twice in 04 going inside to the stadium...not sure it rained last year or in 05. It really depends on the nature of the rain and exacttly how and when. In 04, I was also there at a Sunday practice where it rained some..and they kept practicing. With pop up showers though; it's played by ear.

Did they say anything about what entrance to use?? I tried playing it for the past hour and..no go..Just wondering if that has changed since there's a lot of construction around the place.

(I think p1 was used before..but?? Who knows now.)

In the past they've always opened up Gillette and allowed fans to watch on the Jumbotrons but they didn't mention it in the Patriots Today video so perhaps there's a change this season and they don't want ppl hanging around if it rains. Could be due to the construction, as was mentioned here. I'm definitely curious about this one!

P1 if you come from the North and will drive all around the stadium to get to the West Suite parking lots (near patriots experience... meaning a shorter walk!). If coming from the South, not sure of the number but maybe 8 or something.. It'll be clearly marked.

P8 from the South according to PFW. That's the West Clubhouse entrance, and I'm assuming you can use the flyover when leaving.

Last year whenever it rained they closed practice.

Was i the only one aware of this?

When it's rained in the past, they've opened Gillette Stadium and you could watch it on the Jumbotrons being filmed from the Dana Farber Fieldhouse.

9 times out of 10 i was turned away and was told practice was canceled (to the public)

Man that really makes me angry.

I just saw in the herald that if it rains practice will be closed to the public, so please call the number blah blah blah.....40% chance of T-storms...dang-it...well, thats a few days away, and this IS New England ;)
