Asking for your support

Do you agree with Brian Billick that "kickers aren't football players"?

  • Yes, kickers are essentially a different breed of athletes that you have to treat differently

  • No, I don't buy his argument (explain why....)

Kicking is an important part of the game, so of course the kicker should be considered a football player. Is a QB not a football player because he doesn't tackle, or a lineman not a football player because he doesn't handle the ball?

A number of roles and positions are required - and all are important to ensure victory. Including the kicker.

POLL: Kickers argue, "Brian Billick isn't a football coach." ...... Do you agree?

__ Yes, Brian Billick is just an officious jerk from a different species that shouldn't be allowed to procreate.
__ No, he's just a pain our collective ass who was paid by Art Modell to take Bill Belichick's Browns to the playoffs and take credit for a lot of wins.

I'd take Gost over most "real football players" in the league...
