Has Pat's taking Brandon Graham at 22. His picks show he did his homework regarding the Pats, although we may not agree them.

I would have taken Odrick at 22 and no thanks to a RB at 44. He likes A.Hernandez TE, but if the Pats aren't going to use him the way the Colts use Dallas Clark then give me Gronkowski. No disagreement with Damian Williams.
Not even a mention of Koa Misi through 3 rounds of the draft.

I find this to be the most plausible first round I've seen yet. I think Odrick has to be the pick there over Graham, but I'd still prefer a small trade down or trade up.

Ben Tate isn't going in the first 3? No way he lasts untill the fourth after his combine when he was being called a 3/4 before it....

    Pick them both.

The value chart shows that 2 mid round second rounders are equal to a late first and a late third.

If a team likes two guys who will definitely be gone in the first 60 picks, but probably not before 30, that team might deal out of their late first rounder.

That would land the Patriots Odrick and Graham, and then they still have a 2nd, 3rd and 4th to address needs at WR, TE, ILB, G.

I'd take Tate over Odrick if we did trade back into the first and Id probably take Kindle over Graham at this point.

I would sleep well if it all turned out this way. I think Damian Williams and Golden Tate are the two best receivers for us, plus I love what I've heard about Ryan Matthews. I'd prefer Graham over Odrick. I don't think Odrick is going to help the pass rush as much as Graham. I could deal with Hernandez, another weapon for Brady.

-- If I could have seen Graham in LB drills, perhaps I'd agree.
-- Matthews is nice, but doesn't address a priority need.
-- Williams is a good choice.
-- Hernandez as a Wide Receiver - if he's got the speed/wiggle to beat CBs I can live with him - if he's a TE, I don't see the fit in the 2007/2008/2009 version of the offense.

All this talk about Odrick at 22,, which I wouldn't mind,

but the thought occured to me that BB likes his linemen huge, 6' 4" and more, solid 300 lbs plus, Does Odrick fit that bill?

Do we really know his size??

Frankly, I like Hughes better than either. My plan is to trade up for Morgan if he falls down to 15-ish, and to trade back for Hughes and pick up another pick if he doesn't slip.

A guy I'd be on the lookout for at 22 would be Trent Williams. In 2008 he was the best player on the Oklahoma OL that put 3 or 4 guys in the NFL. This year he seemed to slip with an all-new starting cast around him. You saw in the combine how silky smooth he is. It would be an expensive one, but a tandem of Williams and Vollmer would be a fantastic set of bookends starting in 2011. If Williams was on the board at #20, I'd trade up for him and hopefully be able to get Hughes in the 2nd, with a trade up if appropriate.

    Combine weigh-in: 6'5" 304 34" arms 9 3/4" hands, ran 4.98/40, lifted 225# 26 times, 8'10" broad jump. He fits.

Some people will say I'm crazy, but Odrick reminds me of Seymour.. Just in how he plays..

We could do a LOT worse than a Poor man's Seymour.

He may be as safe a pick as any when it gets down to the 22nd pick. I'm sure BB will look at the tape to find out why he wasn't dominating against elite competition. Double teamed quite a bit with noone really able to share the load on the line? Some are saying he was partially responsible for Maybins eye popping #s in 08. Could he break out with 2 elite lineman taking on some of those double teams?

While I don't think McDaniels would draft Tebow he'd probably do a damn good job of developing him, after his track record with Brady, Cassel, and Orton it would seem he knows how to work with QBs.
