A couple went and played @ a charity game. Got a smile out of the writer critiquing their BB skills.

Kevin Faulk, running back/point guard - Dangerously quick with the right hand as he signs autographs and with the left hand as he attacks the hoop. Clearly a player in his day. Delivers a sick, full-court bounce pass.
Matt Cassel, backup QB/off guard - Make that way off guard. The Cassels are throwers by trade, with two baseball-playing brothers. Cassel had better stick to throwing 10-yard outs, not air-balling wing threes.
Pierre Woods, linebacker/slashing forward - Sharpest elbows on the floor. Runs well for a 250-plus pounder. I would definitely watch this guy in training camp this summer as the Pats try to get younger at linebacker. His hands were atrocious, though, so don't expect many picks.
Logan Mankins, offensive guard/power forward - The former rodeo star must have had a hoop on his family's Northern California ranch. Made great use of his 300-pound frame as defenders simply peeled off him near the hoop.
Russ Hochstein, offensive line/hoop menace - No perimeter game, no post game, no defense and very little speed up the floor. Gosh, he's versatile on the football field, though.
Don Davis, retired linebacker/player-coach - Miles of suicide squad sprints have taken their toll on Davis' 34-year-old legs.
