I don't have any crazy insider info, but I've heard enough from a source who I find reliable that Googs didn't really have a say in who sits, starts, play, is cut, traded or whatever.Guuugs by all accounts appeared to be "Too Nice a Guy". He appeared to stay loyal to guys that should have been beaten out by the more deserving player. Case in point the fact that after coming back from injury, Guugs stayed loyal to Stork when it was clear as day that Andrews was the better player. There was also not a lot of OLine shuffling done during the start and progression of the struggles. That has to come from the OLine Coach who seemed to be a little too nice and a little to loyal.
