Would you rather they look bad? C'mon, man, we're just excited about football.
I won't be excited about a single thing regarding football until Brady's suspension is overturned.
Quarterback position will be evaluated this weekJimmy G has had 2 practices open to the media and has been strong in both.
11-on-11s: Brady 11/15 Garoppolo 17/21 Brissett 12/18
7-on-7s: Brady 20/25, INT Garoppolo 16/19 Brissett 4/7 INT
Overall, Brady went 31/40, INT, Garoppolo was 35/43 and Brissett was 28/40 with an INT
2-on-2s: Garoppolo 6/7 Brissett 3/5

Obviously its just mini camp, but Garropalos completion percentages have been right there with Brady. Its going to suck if we managed to find the real deal at QB thru the draft only to have them leave via free agency because Brady isn't ready to retire yet.. Legit starting QBs don't grow on trees and we could be looking for years and years to come for the next one
Unless we pull what the Colts did and just disgracefully tank a season to get the #1 pick
All the QBs had pretty good comp %... Even Brissett had a good stat line. That's encouraging.
Bennett is gonna be the real deal here - and it's gonna be sweet. I also wonder if maybe we're underestimating Donald Brown - though I'd love for Foster to hit the ground running, so to speak.
There's no way he could've been serious. Is there anything more meaningless than mini camp stats?
I remember Gary Tanguay arguing that there might be a QB controversy last year because Jimmy G. completed a couple more passes than Brady with no defense on the field.
What a freaking moron!
Former teammates as WRs at University of California. I think they may have gone to the same HS too. They'll definitely lean on one another.Mike Reiss @MikeReiss 4m4 minutes ago
Patriots practice leftover: Last 2 players to leave the field, well after the rest of their teammates, were WRs Chris Harper & Devin Lucien.

Good info - I thought they were both at Cal, didn't realize they were in different locations. But I knew they had some older link besides that.Lucien was at UCLA and Harper at Berkeley, I think -- but they've been friends since they were 7 years old:

He may do it catching the football too...most catches amongst the RBs
