There are four defensive starters listed.
Wilfork is a contract issue - why show up and risk injury during a huge contract year? Makes sense.
Warren had several surgical procedures and may not be ready.

Mayo? Unsure.
Meriweather? Unsure, and sort of surprising, given that the Pats top draft pick is a safety.

So two with some questions. Maybe others know what's up with those two.

the DL missing doesnt really bother me much...that Mayo and Merweather are nto there though surprises me a lot....i cant image that its a contract issue for them
