Oddly enough, I think you're dead wrong. Boris is mad keen that Brexit isn't seen as a retreat into Little England nationalism. So I'm betting that when the NFL comes along and wants a lot of special concessions to move a franchise to London, he will give them pretty much whatever they ask for so that he can advertise how "international" London still is.

Well ... there are SOME differences. First, you'd think that the NFL would not look like the dark web to even a semi-competent security algorithm. Second, it isn't just querying the transaction, it's blocking the payment, cancelling the card and blocking other payments, no questions asked. Third, it's not just one card. Fourth, it isn't five minutes getting through to the security people. But carry on ...

Cancelling the card? What sort of wacko bank do you use? Mine gets put in a 'do not accept charges' thing until I respond to some texts or call in.

Beyond that, the NFL doesn't create or manage your bank's automated security measures or, more likely, whichever payment processor they're offloading this work onto.

Not a problem here, have used for many years. Got the auto renewal last week and asked for a cancel and refund since I got a bunch of games here on Espn and Fox and it went smoothly.

Call them and tell them the A22 sux. Vital for content and connection to the fans but awful product. It could be so good but isn't utilized right.

Let fans watch multiple angles, live from home & obviously after at home. Some people really enjoy certain pov and it doesn't have to change if you don't want it to but think about it. Would you only watch the paint in an NBA game? Show the game from multiple angles there's 80 + cameras a game it's obviously available in game for coaches.

It's three different banks (two of mine and one of my daughter's). The fraud prevention people in the U.S. couldn't elucidate but said it was probably something to do with the "suspiciousness" of the transaction. But they didn't just cancel that transaction but cancelled a Netflix subscription too. But laugh away, genius ...

Had similar issues with us credit cards and the Deutsche Bahn (rail System). But it just froze my cards and not canceled. I blame it at least 50% on DB website build (similar as OP complained) and not solely my US banks.

at end of day when we mix foreign languages w us security protocol and the alphabet soup that may be a url string, it gets hard to place blame. I get German websites blocked all the time at work (us network) if character strings like ‚sex‘ or ‚lott‘ or such are in the middle of the words.

from my side, It’s a ***** when u are 200km from home trying to buy a ticket online for a train leaving in 15 min and all actions denied. IIRC I think I had to use PayPal with an iban and pay extra higher $ conversion to get a ticket.

Same thing happened to me, but only because I had a subscription to GamePass International from last year charged to my US MasterCard (was using a VPN), didn't realize it auto-renewed. Chase locked my card over it, but as @fnordcircle said, a quick phone call cleared it up.
