OT: Grandpa Farve...will he retire?

Farve is a grandpa now. He will endure endless jokes if he chooses to come back.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Brett Favre is now the only grandfather in the NFL.

His 21-year-old daughter, Brittany, has given birth to a boy -- Parker Brett. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
Favre said on his Web site that he and wife Deanna are "very proud" to welcome their first grandchild.

He can't (and won't) quit now. How can he resist being the first Grandfather to play in the NFL. Another year of coverage about him? There's NO WAY he passes on that!

Not sure what being a grandparent, has to do with playing in the NFL...

If I was in good health and someone offered me 12 million to do something I was good at and enjoyed, not sure how long I would have to think about it. Like to think that I would set up a real nice trust fund for my granchild...

Well, Favre was 19 when his wife (girlfriend at the time) gave birth to her. So she waited until she matured compared to her father.

The biggest challenge that young parents typically face are financial issues.

I think it's safe to say that baby Favre will be well supported in that respect.
