OT: Chad "Ochocinco" wants to wear Henry's jersey, NFL says no

(Mods - I was going to put this in the NFL Forum, but I couldn't find it...?)

NFLPA would cover fine if Chad Ochocinco wears #15 against SanDiego - Cincy Jungle

While I'm sure his heart is in the right place, IMHO this is not the way to honor a fallen friend and teammate. Wear the decal of his number on your helmet, but leave his jersey in his locker.

Whether or not the NFL should or shouldn't allow him to is a different matter.

I think a patch on the shoulders or sleeves of his jersey would be more than respectful but I don't agree to the number switch,at least from a merchandise selling standpoint from those who own and buy Ocho stuff .

I think he just wants to wear it for one game... which i have no issue with. Can't see why anyone else would.

PFT says otherwise.. it reports Ocho Cinco saying that he doesn't want to cause problems.

I think he just wants to wear it for one game... which i have no issue with. Can't see why anyone else would.

Is it for 1 game or the rest of the season?

If its one game then I see no reason not to but if I were cho I would wait until thier next home game where support would be at its highest level.
