No, why would i do that? I was essentially right.

I'm still waiting for BaconGrundleCandy to pay me.

Also, you should have more respect for my predictions. After years of making them, I still have a perfect track record.

Are you going to do the right thing and pay up?

The over a few days ago for Chiefs/Pats was 48.....Bet the house on the over.
In 2016, Chargers/Chiefs combined for 60
NE typically is in mid season form offensively in September while the D is still basic.
Also, with KC missing their lead RB, I envision a more pass reliant attack meaning more offensive plays which should equate to more points.
I expect Brady to begin his MVP run with a unrelenting pass based attack utilizing his newest toys and a healthy Gronk. Fireworks

Just an FYI:
Houston is 15-5 ATS as favorites under Billy O'.
Jacksonville is 1-7-1 ATS last 9 opening road games (Edit: they are being outscored by 17 ppg during that stretch).
I'll stick with these trends for now.

That Houston is a better team in theory, no questions about it. That Bortles suck either.

None of that matters when we are analyzing a 5 point spread though.

Houston doesn't posses a high scoring offense, and again they enter into the season without an established QB.
Bortles suck in all things QB when it comes to decision making and cerebral aspect of the position but he can pass. He does have games with multiple TD's, he does have many games as a starter under his belt. My point is if Jacksonville score 3 TD's your spread is at a huge risk.

Jacksonville is supposed to have a good defense as well, and a good team, in recent years there have always been some expectation over them that didn't translate to reality anyways, it's possible that they have a decent team. And it's week 1. Too many points to trust a rookie or unproven QB to deliver.

Pats and Pittsburgh moneyline parlay gets you about a 53% return on your money. That's about the best/safest play I think can be made as far as NFL goes this weekend.

For the Pats game, although I've said many times KC sucks it's week 1 and -9 is a high line under uncertain circumstances.

I like the under 49.5 paying 1.72 and the Pats over 24.5 paying 1.51 on the sportsbook that I'm using. Still deciding.

Jax is not scoring 3 TD's vs. that defense. OUR offense (not counting the KO return for TD) managed only 3 TD's at home against Houston in the playoffs. They also get some guy named Watt back and lose Osweiller at QB (net gain on both ends).
Agree to disagree, sir.

now i want to know what the bet was...

maybe we should lay it out in a new thread, and have ppl vote on who thinks won and who thinks lost the bet

The bet was on the McGregor/Mayweather fight. $2K. A bet I clearly won, by picking the correct winner of the fight - i.e. Conor McGregor.

I'll break it down as simply as I can.

Where I grew up, in the mean streets of Greenwich, Connecticut - taking a man's back in a fight, and therefore the dominant position, meant that the fight could end in one of three ways. The guy in the dominant position can:

1. Choke out his opponent
2. Take them to the ground and snap any of his opponent's limbs
3. Take them down and fatally ground and pound

In the streets, you wouldn't be able to simply bend over, grind your ass against another man's crotch, and then have a referee step in to break it up. We don't f&ck around in the streets.

It is clear who the winner of the fight was.

My argument is bulletproof. But I won't take his money. The mere fact that he was so wrong despite talking so much trash, is punishment enough for him.

It wasn't a street fight it was a boxing match, that's what you bet on....

It was a straight up bet, win or lose for 2k.

He's a clown who doesn't have the $ to pay up.

Only fitting he comes back in the gambling thread considering hes betting air.

He's a loser.

He also said mods could delete his account if he lost. And he lost.

That was some serious "I didn't lose because...." type of logic. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not.

Still salty because you publicly embarrassed yourself with that bold prediction that did not come to fruition, I see.

It's trolling. Gotta give him credit, it's quality material. Nobody believes McGregor won that fight. Fourier doesn't either. He got his face caved in by a guy with broken down hands. And I say this as someone that was rooting hard for McGregor.

LOL Bro you are making a huge fool out of yourself.

I said Floyd would win and he embarrassed Conor.

Did you make spending plans with that $2K that you thought you would win, and then had to cancel them because they did not pan out as a result of your incorrect prediction? Is that where this salt is coming from?

McGregor got TKO'd and he would have been KO'd if the ref let Floyd land a few more shots. It wasn't really close. McGregor was running out of gas...FAST. It's stupid to argue who won the fight. Even Conor knows he lost. Let's move on.
