It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Kirkwood hopes that one of them will be somewhere else other than Wembley, but there's only really two other stadiums in the UK that could host a game 0 the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, and Hampden Park in Glasgow.
I think I would believe what Kirkwood said over a site with poor reporting. I doubt Kirkwood would have announced it without it being confirmed he would probably loose his job as MD of NFL UK if it was not signed up he said that 2 teams have agreed to give up games.
Later in the show a viewer emailed in to say that apparently the 49er were one of the teams as he apparently knower the owner of the 49ers and is a fan of them himself.
I wouldn't say PFT is a site with "poor reporting."
Besides, if you took the time to read the story, you would have seen it was based off a quote from the official NFL spokesman.
So, really what you're saying is you would believe Kirkwood over the NFL.
Manchester was another one discussed alongside Glasgow IIRC...playing in Old Trafford might make more sense since it has a decent capacity and the owner of the stadium also owns one of the NFL teams
Kirkwood works for the NFL.
"We've been saying for quite some time that we are considering playing two games in London next season," Aiello said via e-mail, "but nothing has been scheduled yet."

Based upon that article yes. They did not research to see that it was in fact on SKY rather than BBC, they use England while Cardiff was also mentioned as well as Glasgow in the same live phone call which both outside of England and the game being broadcast was Chargers at Dallas. Which to me seems poor reporting.
I did take the time to read the whole article even the ridiculous bits about a possible overseas franchise. Alistair Kirkwood Is also the NFL and was the man who announced all of the details of the last game. He is a a very good source he is not just someone picked up off the street.
In fairness Kirkwood did appear on BBC radio as well, who were covering the Redskins/Raiders game.
Pitch size at Old Trafford isn't big enough sadly.
Just pointing out for future information, you are using "inter" as if it has the exact opposite meaning it actually has. Inter-divisional means means "between teams in different divisions", Intra-divisional means "between teams in the same division".Just announced by Alistair Kirkwood on NFL live on sky sports 2. teams unknown until after schedule is sorted one game will be inter divisional. I doubt this will affect the pats unless bills or jets come visit our shores My hope is that both come over for the inter divisional game.
Are we sure that the games will only be in the UK? It would make sense because the UK is the only region that cares, but the Meazza and the Camp Nou are pretty massive stadia. I can't imagine that they'd want the turf torn up at either of those places though (even though the San Siro's pitch is god awful by November anyway).
I would have thought Anfield had the room behind each goal to expand a few meters. The problem with most of those stadia is that they are so compact.
