Ron Wolf, the retired Green Bay Packers' general manager, puts it a different way: Get three above-average starters out of a seven-round draft and you did a good job.

"I'm not talking about guys who just line up," Wolf said. "I mean three top-drawer starters. Any bonus over that, it was a great draft.
Tend to agree with his comments. Plus, I always look for sleepers, knowing there's gems in every draft -- regardless of round.

Every draft, fans place too much emphasis on first-rounders, seemingly content with the highest ranked prospects. Fans also lack the patience necessary to allow for each prospect to develop...wanting that immediate quick fix. When you're intent is to maintain your team's foundation from the bottom up, it's necessary to consider all draft prospects in every round.

I think you have to wait at least 3-5 years to grade it accurately...
