Going out as an AFC runner up to Brady is not all that bad really if it does happen.

Playoff games are rarely decisive. People that ARZ would blowout GB. Considering where our offense was last 6 weeks it was a welcome change. Yes, we converted 3rd and 12 and 3rd and 13 on the first drive which is forgotten and dont want to get in those situations on the road but other team will make some plays too.My concern is this. The Chiefs win was not as decisive as it appeared most of the game. There were numerous chances where the Pats avoided a turnover basically through luck. The Broncos defense is better than the Chiefs defense, and the venue is far more unpleasant to play in than Foxboro. I think these might combine to allow the Broncos to force at least two or three turnovers on the Patriots (unless they just go for a running game and don't score anything). I could then see a low scoring game where the Broncos win due to their great field position from turnovers and their better running game, so I could see a score like 17-7 Broncos.
Yes,each week different. Dont think either team will look the same and lot of this is based on matchups. Even vs the chiefs our run D was having issues not to mention the pass rush wasnt great at times so biggest threat is to stop the run and at the same time not let manning complete his short passes to his skilled WRs. Its not going to be easy - surprised we are favored on the road in a game of this magnitude.I would be mildly surprised given what each team has put on tape last weekend.
The advantages Denver has, the running game and home field/refs will not be a factor unless they manage to 1) shut down the Pats offense with a full compliment of weapons, a feat they hitherto have been unable to accomplish, 2) benefit from in-game injuries (e.g. Hightower last game), 3) decisively winning the turnover battle.
Since it will most likely require more than one of the aforementioned key to manifest, I would be mildly surprised to see Denver win, but not shocked.
Bottom line, it is going to be a difficult task to win in Denver. However, let's not pretend that the Broncos do not have as difficult--if not--more difficult task ahead of them too.

I believe we will see a reemergence by LaFell
Sunday, I am calling for 7-8 targets with 5-6 catches and 60-70 yards and a TD.....book it
i wish you're right
nothing wrong with believing and praying
but maybe you should change LaFell to Martin just in case ...
Misleading? You don't think Manning is a Hall of Fame quarterback? Kubiak is playing him for his experience and decision making and he would've had over 300 yards passing vs. Pittsburgh if not for the drops. He played well last week. All the overconfident folks here who already have dismissed Manning as a huge factor against the Patriots could be in for a rude awakening Sunday and would do well to heed what BB said about him.
True.
I am scared SCHITTLESS of logan ryan. he was utter garbage vs KC and I know Manning will go at him if the opportunity is there. I'm sure Patricia knows this and hopefully he can disguise who Ryan's defending. My God does he ****ing suck. Just about every big third down KC had was on Ryan...surely that was by design.
Any updates today on collins/jones?
That report was wrong (see other thread). Slater is playing. So Slater practiced today. Is he for sure out on Sunday?
