In the regular season.

Here's the gold standard for playoffs domination:

1985 Bears:

21-0
24-0
46-10

91-10 differential
3.3 points allowed in the playoffs.

The Bears did have a great postseason run. Of course, they were lucky enough to avoid playing the Dolphins again. I don't say that to limit the glory the Bears deservingly have gotten, but because it would have been a fun game to watch, and because it's the same comment Patriots fans will hear from the Chargers/Colts/Steelers/Browns fan bases depending on how the slotting and matchups play out this season.

Ditka has stated that his 85 team could not keep up with the Patriots. He may have better insight than you.
