As I called beforehand, if we didn't get a great outing from Lackey (nope); Escobar (eh) and Anderson, we had no chance. Frankly, when I saw Anderson's eye swollen shut, I didn't even need to watch the games.

All in all, though, we backed into the playoffs, and you guys are playing extremely well. I would not bet against you to go all the way.

p.s. To the guy who called me a moron -- a) where were you before the game? Not here? Then you don't get to talk; and b) go look at some of your own posters' sky-is-falling posts from a few weeks ago. You didn't hear that kind of talk from me about your team. . . .

Easy. Chargers.

The Angels limped into the playoffs and we all knew that they'd need everything to go just the right way to win.

The Chargers loss on the other hand stung much worse.

Luckily, it won't happen again. . .
