Re: OT: Lawrence Phillips gets 10 years in prison

Nobody's perfect, but this is just stupid:

Lawrence Phillips sentenced to prison - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

All the talent that guy had, he could've been huge. But he gave into his demons and now not only did it cost him a career, it cost him his freedom and his victims a chance to live normal lives.

when i read the title i thought it said "lawrence phillips gets 10 yards in prison"

and i was like huh?

Re: OT: Lawrence Phillips gets 10 years in prison

His NFL "career" seems like the distant past. Hard to believe he's only 33.

Let's see...play in the NFL making million$ and becoming set for life to do most anything you want or spend 10 years in prison emerging penniless for life. Which to chose?

Sadly, this guy had anger and self control issues that were off the charts geting THAT disturbed after losing a pickup football game.

Well, maybe Phillips and Simpson can be pen pals.....

Re: OT: Lawrence Phillips gets 10 years in prison

Maybe he, Michael Vick and OJ can share a cell.
