Ahhh ... A Swede ... transfer from the Swedish hockey league perhaps? :p:p:p

An 'n' makes all the difference in the world. jk
Damaris Johnson is right!!

Dri Archer must be really rated low for him not to get a sniff anywhere. I guess humility could have helped him a bit too.

How is he better than Dri archer?
I'd ask the reverse, How is Dri Archer a better option than Damaris Johnson? I'm not a draft guy so I'm really curious. Damaris with 3 seasons had much better production in college than dri with 4 seasons having 300 less yards rushing and receiving 3426 to 3808 and Damaris also had a ton more yards in the return game. They're about the same size as well I believe and both went to div 1 schools.

There is a mark against Damaris apparently he was kicked out of school in his senior year for some shady activity with his girl friend involving scammingor embezzling money. Not sure what his draft stock would'v been otherwise, Dri went in the 3rd and Damaris was undrafted.

After looking up on him last night I had a felling we'd sign him, was even checking this morning for updates. Not sure how much he'll do but seems like he could be a productive versatile player. He's also had more nfl production in a similar system which puts him ahead of Dri as well

WR/return specialist

Has a 9.4 punt return average on 47 returns and also knows how to fair catch (has 39 fair catches)
I think they may use him as the 3rd down RB. Hes run the ball before and White isnt it.

The problem is that hes pint-sized

Besides the 2 midgets we signed, we also signed WR Austin Hill to the practice squad. He's been on our practice squad earlier this year (November I believe). I like him a lot, 6'3" 210, really fights for the ball, good hands. Was a Biletnikof finalist in 2012, blew out his knee in 2013, had a so-so comeback season his senior season at Arizona in 2014. I really think he can challenge Tyms and/or Dobson next season, should be 100% healthy and hopefully have some of his explosion back.

Tried out Zack Bowman 6'1" CB with years of starter experience.

Thoughts?

What this tells me is that BB is concerned about the deep ball to taller WRs and Melvin has not played his way into the secondary rotation.

Vs DEN, while the coverage by Malcolm and Ryan was sticky, they simply weren't tall enough on the sideline routes.

Damaris signed a 2 year deal so it's for real.

The h makes the difference, for anyone who remembers obscure Bruins bust Lars Jonsson.

Dri Archer clearly sucks, not sure why people are wringing their hands about him. The guy got cut right after the Steelers lost their starting running back for the season and hasn't even been called to try out, let alone been signed, even as backs drop like flies.

I hope trey williams is a bigger hit than johnson . We desperately need a 3rd down back.

The two year deal factor is interesting. His workout must've really gone well.

It actually isn't that interesting, they frequently do that but often cut the player soon. The second year isn't guaranteed or anything.

Yeah I didn't figure it was guaranteed, just saying they must have some actual interest and he's not a guy that they're just gonna dump tomorrow necessarily. Though BB might still do that. Who the hell knows.
