Anyone else notice how many times a Patriot slipped and fell before or when attempting stop and tackle? Maybe it was just me but on a number of solid KC gains a Patriot was on the way down to his collective 'keis·ter' and the Chief ran right past.

the ninkovich slip summed up the night.
a failure of epic proportions.

I blame the equipment manager. They are supposed to assess the field and equip the players with the appropriate cleats. Obviously, he did not select the correct cleat length. Some of the falls were on the players though.

The ninkovich slip was the turning point for me that sent me from a place of unlikely hope to a place of deep depression. And also to the fridge for a stiff drink.
