When was the last time a sports writer described the event as "we murdered them". I'm not offend by the murder, raped, killed them, etc adjectives. The person posting is actually characterizing themselves and believes they are speaking to a certain audience. A tragic event occurs and a person is perceived as using irresponsible language. This happened when Bowden at Fl. State used words of a 911 hero. A member's sister may have just been raped and objects to using that term in sport. We have seen jokes that fell flat in regards to Alzheimer's. I look for the description that is unique or puts a smile on my face. Just my two cents as I also await the Butler decision.
