I know. Besides, does anyone really consider the Jets to be a legit threat this year? I'd like to know what Indy, SD and Denver think of this potential deal.

It's always fun to see a division rival squirm.

I consider that to be massive denial...kind of like when you are dieting you convince yourself you'd rather have the salad than the filet mignon.

How can they honestly call him a "lazy player with tons of potential" only playing well for his contract? He worked his way up behind Boulware from being a 6th round selection. Silly Jets fans.

and if he signed with Jets hes the: hardest working player with infinite potential playing well ever since he came to the league to prove hes better than the 6th round selection

let Jets be mad....i would be pissed if he signed with Jets

The Jets are a afterthought after the playoffs this season. Sure we'll take them seriously as we do every team week to week. But truly,we played terrible in those two games during the regular season and everyone saw what happened when it came down to crunchtime. Unfortunately for them the Pat's took them seriously and destroyed them in front of a National audience.

I can't wait until another team signs Joey Porter. Head will explode over there.

I don't need to register or post there. They do well enough without being edged on.

With or without Thomas, Jets aren't going to be a threat to the Pats for a very long time.

Someone ought to Photoshop in a Pats uniform and it would be acceptable.

I love the franchising of Samuel and the Thomas signing not only because of how they help this team but also because we get to thumb our nose at the Jets.

    That's always fun.

I love how the beginning of the thread was, "I don't believe it until it's final," and, "He's in SF right now, he won't go to NE." Then when the signing became apparent it was, "He's overrated," "Joey Porter is better," and all that. Classic.

Can you blame them? I wouldn't want to face him every year like the Jet's are going to have to...

Yeah , you really can't blame them for not being too happy. I wonder what they're saying over on the Chargers' and Colts' sites :rocker:

I made a brief trip to IndyStar. They're still pretty smug. However, some guy named Disco Stu did start a thread called What the Patriots did by winning 3 was better than all the others two days ago that's up to seven pages now. Is he a plant over there from one of "our" boards? :D

The happiest guy in Jets land is Pennington's orthopedic surgeon.

AD's signing should weaken the potential of their possible signing of Dillon. Wonder how they feel about Welker, (Good Luck, Hank!) Morris and Brady? Bet Mangini isn't enthused.:D

The Jest is a big joke. The ONLY game they won against a team over .500 last year was that sh!t fest that we played against them. That's it. Every other win was against a .500 or lesser team.

Your title reads "Jets fans not happy". I went ahead and read some of that thread over on the Jets board. I'm not sure "not happy" applies to what I saw. A few seemed worried. Generally, however, I found the incoherence too overwhelming to really decipher anything. The IBM think tank they are not. I am not painting the whole bunch the same though. Every board has its knuckleheads. I think that thread, for whatever reason, has attracted every knucklehead over there. I would change "Jets Fans Not Happy" to "This Thread is an Example of Our Failing Educational Institution". That said, every member of the AFC opposition should be worried. If AT lives up to even 75% of his billing, the Patriots just became distinctly harder to defeat. Now he just needs to go out and prove that the money he is now making is justified. That is never a guarantee.
