Isaiah Wynn Removes all Patriots references from his social media accounts

This one is sort of an interesting situation since he didn't ask to be moved to right tackle and has obviously been playing poorly. At the same time, he was outplayed by Brown at left tackle ... so there's still some responsibility there on his part. That and all the penalties certainly aren't helping whatever argument he's trying to make.

Cannon’s been outplaying him, but given our lack of other alternatives I’m a little surprised we’d just dump him despite how poorly he’s playing. Must be a malcontent behind the scenes too.

Trade his az

As has been discussed in other threads, it doesn't make sense to trade or cut Wynn at this time given our lack of depth at the Tackle position. I think for that to happen, we'd have to bring someone in to replace Wynn. We don't even have an OT on our practice squad at this moment. The only other tackle we have is Cajuste who is injured.

I also don't think it's a good idea to move Onwenu back to RT. He's been playing lights out at guard, let's leave him there where he is excelling.

If the team decided to make the trade right now, I wouldn't be upset because I'd assume they came to the conclusion that a random street FA is better than him (or similar in quality). If they evaluate Wynn to be that level of player, there's no reason to worry about losing him regardless of the circumstances. He hurts more than he helps by being on the field this year.

Absolutely agree.

This weakens the team.

Half of Wynn's penalties I won't even blame him on (the holds and not lying up on the line). The false starts are his fault but it's crazy that we're getting rid of tackle depth at this point in the season

his contributions have hit the diminishing returns point... his play & his blase attitude makes it worthwhile to get rid of him rather than keeping him around... Addition by subtraction it seems...

I would agree unless he has a bad attitude in meetings or practice then I would move him for a Home Depot gift certificate. I remember that 2009 team that was talented but had some poor attitudes (Adalius Thomas). No worse cancer for a team than a crappy attitude.

I agree. They probably think Cajuste is at least as good, and probably even Gutierrez on the practice squad. Trading him also gives them a ton of cap space.

And he was drafted over Jackson and Chubb.
dont give a flying :poop: about where and when he was drafted or who was passed over... I thought he was a decent pick... I thought early on that he showed promise to be a good player... no longer... that moment is gone, and isnt coming back... not going to hop aboard the whine train now... just get him out of town

Gutierrez was let go. We don't have an OT on the practice squad at this time.

I get it, but if Cannon or Brown get injured, we don't have any other OT's on the team or practice squad. Cajuste is injured at this time. Unless we trade Wynn for another OT(which I'm not opposed to) we can't cut him.
