So I went down to Tampa to take in the game, had pretty good seats Sec. 229 back left of the End Zone opposite side of the stadium of that freaking annoying Pirate Ship and it's cannons. I enjoyed that game......scratch that, I enjoyed seeing our guys. I watched the sideline almost as much as I enjoyed the game. It's clear that the 1's stay to themselves and the other future Fed-Ex employee's are in their own groups.
1. Mayo is something to see in person. I really enjoyed watching him. All the Tampa Season ticket holders were very impressed with our Rookie. His name was called over and over again in the first and second QTR. I enjoyed giving them my quick Pats fan view of No. 51 and his impact.
2. Mayo never left Buschi's side, even into the the 4th QTR they were attached to the hip and talking the entire time.
3. When they announced our starters before the game, they announced Lynch as well and he got a HUGE ovation from the crowd (Second only to the Bucs scoring a TD or FG).
4. The Bucs cheerleaders are very very very Hot.
5. Lots of Patriot fans there - Lots. Very impressive for Tampa.
6. Bucs fans are annoying. Seriously, these folks are convinced they are going to the Super Bowl. Not much I could counter with based on how we played.
7. Excellent stadium, very nice and easy to get in and out. Hopefully we are there in Jan/Feb and more can take it in.
8. Randy and Wes looked bored and I thought the tempo of the Offense and defense was VERY sluggish. I would be interested to hear some other thoughts on this as well. It almost looked as if they were at 3/4 speed.
9. Lynch and Vrabel stood next to each other the whole game almost, not sure if they knew each other from before or Lynch was getting his view. I'm guessing that he was learning what he could from Vrabel kinda like Mayo and Teddy.
10. At the Half when Bill came out he had Adam Schefter walking with him across the field and they were talking and he was writing down notes - No Idea what was said, but I'm sure all of you that watched the game saw or heard his recap.
11. NFL Network was at our hotel and I got to see Marshall Faulk, my buddy went up and talked to him - I passed on the opportunity as I would not have been nice - I really don't like the guy. Saw Sterling Sharpe and some other players and NFL personalities, most were very nice.
Anyway, I thought you all would be interested. I'll have to say that I went down on Sat. AM and played golf Sat and Sun AM so I did not know Brady was going to be out until I was in the Hotel Bar before the game and the bartender told me, which I quickly got out my iPhone and checked Patsfans and I was VERY disappointed. Oh well.
Oh, yea - Did I mention how freaking hot the Bucs cheerleaders are?? :singing:
