::Waits for some chicken little to call him a bust so I can respond asking them does that mean Clowney is a bust too::
I smell a first round bust

What would they gain by IRing him? They could send him to a spa until the playoffs and it would be the same thing. Any player picked up now would probably never even be active.
Call me cynical, but I'm guessing Howe took the fact that he's not practicing and Jones is coming back and is rolling the dice that Easley's hurt more than we know and hoping for a scoop.
If he's wrong, it's just another forgotten article.

Uh, are you saying Clowney is not going to be a bust?
Dude was an awful pick and is going to remembered as one of the biggest busts of all-time when it's all said and done. It already appears his first 2 years will be a complete waste. Then you're banking on a low work ethic guy who relies 100% on talent instead of hard work to make a comebcak from one of the worst injuries there is?
As for Easley, this isn't surprising at all. Did not like the pick when it was made and hate it even more now. Injury prone guy spends most of season injured and ends on IR. Shocking.
